Look at what we did two Sundays ago!
“Lights! Jewels! Fantastic on location shoots! These are all standard for the Marcus Duval Photography Experience.”
On Sunday, January 20th, we went to Haute Headz salon to prep for a photoshot for two beautiful ladies…stylist Sarah McClure and make up artist Tifaniee Bordwell…
“I was immediately taken aback by the light and airy atmosphere of the salon. Flowers, mirrors and cocktail menus made the area stand out as lovely and inviting. With so much light in the room and catchy tunes, I couldn’t help but dance around…and I was’t even getting the star treatment!!!
Hair and makeup started around 11 o’clock in the morning. Sarah put herself and Tifaniee in curlers and then spent the next few hours prepping and transforming from unusually good looking to superstars.
By 4:30 we were on our way to the St. Mark’s Wildlife Reserve.and for certain they had reserved the wildlife for us!!
Beautiful birds and mammals scurried about in the distance, and some Tallahassee natives warned us of the dreaded no see ums as Tifaniee and Sarah prepared their outfits for the shoot. We had no idea what we were in for…
In the thirty short minutes it took to capture Sarah and Tifaniee on camera, we were assaulted by the smallest but most ferocious of critters… Gnats… I still have a few marks!! Does it matter, though? The shots turned out fantastic, as they only can when a trained photographer , lovely model, and lovely location come together in one prepared product…
We can’t wait to show you what we do next!!!
